Dual enrollment is when students spend part of their day at high school and part of their day attending college classes. The classes taught by KCC faculty, are offered on Kirtland campus in Roscommon, the M-TEC in Gaylord, online, or on a high school site. Tuition and fees for classes offered through dual enrollment may be paid by the school district or the student.

Students work with guidance counselor at their high school to determine which classes they should take for college credit, as well as to identify classes that may be used for both high school and college credit.
Articulation is the cooperation between Kirtland Community College and the local high schools that allows a student to receive college credit for a class the student has completed in high school.  If a student wants to know what classes are offered at their home school for articulation they can contact their high school counselor.
